In 1979, Hirasawa organised
a techno pop group P-MODEL based on a progressive
band MANDRAKE. P-MODEL made their debut from
Warner Music.
In the techno pop boom at that time, P-MODEL
stole the show with their far-out and pop sound.
Since then, they have been energetically acting
while renewing the group member many times.
This year that is P-MODEL 20th anniversary,
they started a big projectentitled "MUSIC
INDUSTRIAL WASTES `P-MODEL OR DIE".
Remarkable point is they introduce people to
the way of future music industries offering
digital music delivered via the Internet.
In 1989, Hirasawa started solo
activities besides P-MODEL. He has created originative
stateless sounds those are very poetic and vocalic.
The sounds give us images as if we are in a
world where the PAST(myth/ethnic world) and
FUTURE(SF/computer world) meet the PRESENT.
That is called HIRASAWA WORLD.
Since 1994 he has staged the
Interactive Live Show on his own idea. It is
well appreciated as a various entertainment
show using AMIGA. The show has alternative stories
and is carried on audience's reaction, that
is like a roll playing game. It is a lifework
for him and was performed 5 times before now.
Hirasawa demonstrates a talent
for music, as a composer for TV documentary
music, sound track for video animation, image
album for novels, and so on.
Above all, he was highly appreciated his talent
in the animation drama of cartoons "BERSERK"
in 1997. The author of BERSERK longed for him
to write, and eventually Hirasawa wrote the sound
tracks and sang a special song for BERSERK.
He also produced an album for Yuko Miyamura,
an actress who dubbed in BERSERK.
All his works have been touching all artists
and creators.
